Funny Football Manager: Fake Top Transfer and Really Unlucky Name
I usually have some relatively boring – or better said unfunny – Football Manager games and I rarely get to see or experience funny situations. And when I do, I always forget to save the screenshots, but now things are a little bit different and I am happy to be able to share with you two hopefully funny Football Manager 2012 images.
The first one is with Lecce who decided to splash the cash on some really hot Serbian youngster: according to the report, their purchase of 7.75 Million Euros is a new record, beating the previous record of 8.75 Million. Wait… what?
And the second funny Football Manager 2012 image that I want to share with you below is a bit sensitive: I know it’s not nice to make fun of somebody’s name and that’s not really my intention… but this poor guy (who apparently exists in real life football) has a really unlucky name:

I’ve seen quite a few really bizarre things in this release. I’ve had the coaches tell me to encourage the players and we can get out of his this bad form, when we haven’t lost a competitive match in 3 months. I really should look to collect a few of the gems that I see.
A lot of the records comparison is badly wrong. Before our 5th round FA Cup tie, I was told we’d been knocked out in the FA Cup 6th round two seasons in a row, which is wrong. Maybe the game knew I was going to win the match, and that I’ll be beaten in the next one.
Argel has caused all sorts of amusement in the past. If you do a search on his name, you’ll find that back in 2001, Eurosport put a wonderful headline on their site, “F*cks off to Benfica” but without the asterisk in place.
Indeed, Ziggy, you should collect these – they certainly make other people smile (at least). Never heard of F**ks before, but certainly won’t forget him now
It could just be that they’re counting the up-front fee in the headline, when in truth the “true” value of the transfer is higher depending on bonuses and installments. I’ve had that before too and this was the reason for it.
Unlucky name though for sure, feel sorry for that guy hahaha!
Other scenarios include similar to Ziggy. coaches telling me to make players squad status to less than what they have been, or telling me to encourage players when they’ve been doing well. I particularly love when i ask for my assistants opinion after a game that we won heavily, when they turn round and slam the team. makes me wonder what game they were watching lol
