Afternoon. So I reckon I am about 60% over the Staffs save dying. I also lost a Faroe Islands save I was messing about with (which will probably make it onto the list below of what I do next). All in all, a bit of a pig.
I reckon the issue was something I subscribed to in Steam – a logo pack or face pack or something. I’ve literally uninstalled and reinstalled the game four times in the last 48 hours – hopefully it is stable again now.
Which means I need to decide what I do next.
I am in a mindset of only managing in countries I have never managed in before (hence the Faroe Islands) and where a decent story could be found.
Here is a bit of a brain dump of potential locations;
Faroe Islands (I only got one season in so starting again wouldn’t be too weird and I’d write about it here this time)
Malta
Luxembourg
Yugoslavia (currently testing a database to see if it works – initial signs are pretty promising!)
Vietnam
New Zealand
Wales
Brunei
The Caribbean (this looks fun)
Soviet Union (apparently there is a huge database project in progress!)
I have to say, the Yugoslavia one looks like fun – I could start unemployed and see what comes up.
It’s an impressive database – it goes down to Division 9. I think I’d load it up to Div 7, though.
I think it’s decided – Yugoslavia it will be (and I’ll get my Faroe Island groove back on another time).
